This national / international event will focus on the foremost research in nutrition and health science.

Every year, BioAlps organizes the BioAlps Networking Day about different topics:

  • 2009: Infectious Diseases
  • 2010: Personalised Medicine
  • 2011: BioAlps, 10 ans au service des sciences de la vie
  • 2012: L'avenir de notre place industrielle

This year, this national/international event will focus on the foremost research in Nutrition and Health science.

Individuals respond differently to various food and nutrients and this variability in the response and its impact in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases need to be studied, discussed and understood by healthcare professionals, food industry and the general public.

Nutrigenomics will change the way that food, dietary supplement, and functional food companies do business because it will change the ways that individuals, scientists, and health care providers understand the effects of changes in diet on the individual. These changes will be realized in the context of personalized diets and personalized food and supplement products.

This year the BioAlps Networking Day will be a gathering of BioAlps community who share an interest in the close relationships between nutrition and genetics as they relate to health and prevention of disease.

The conference provides an overview and practical summary of the latest information on nutrition and health presented by leaders in scientific research, clinicians skilled in nutritional medicine, experts on food and nutrition policy, and companies involved in Food, Nutrition and Pharma.
